A sequel, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, was released in April 2014, loosely based on the film's sequel. A PlayStation Vita version was also released in November 2013. A version for the Wii U was released in March 2013 in North America and Europe as The Amazing Spider-Man: Ultimate Edition in both regions. It was released on June 26 in North America and on Jin Europe for Nintendo DS, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, Android, iOS, and Microsoft Windows.
